Security monitoring company BluVector said it was issued a new patent for “System and Method for Automated Machine-learning, Zero-day Malware Detection.”
BluVector said it is the first company to obtain this type of patent in the cybersecurity industry.
The patent was originally filed before the BluVector completed its spinoff from Northrop Grumman,
“This patent helps to strengthen BluVector’s role as a leader in machine learning threat detection and protect the methods that enable us to detect normal as well as zero-day threats with over 99 percent accuracy,” said BluVector CEO Kris Lovejoy.
“Our teams will continue to evolve our next-generation malware detection to meet the growing needs of enterprises in search of a solution that helps them to greatly enhance their security posture.”
