Patents for machine identity protection firm Venafi

Venafi, a provider of machine identity protection, announced the award of two new patents by the US Patent and Trademark Office.

Venafi’s most recent patents cover innovations in cryptographic key technology and the security of mobile authentication.

Venafi said its customers include “the top five U.S. health insurers, the top five U.S. airlines and four of the top five banks in the U.S., U.K. and South Africa as well as four of the top five U.S. retailers.”

Venafi CEO Jeff Hudson said: “We invest heavily in research and development.

“Our patent portfolio is one result of that investment.

“As inventors of the machine identity protection market, and recognized market leaders, we are inventing ground-breaking solutions that protect our customers’ machine identities, and our patents are a measure of the innovation we consistently deliver.”
