Fantasy Sports Co announced it has been issued two software-based utility patents by the US Patent Office that cover the assembly of virtual teams and live scoring.
“The patent for invention number 9,744,450 is for the assembly of a Virtual Team, lineup building is a crucial part of the core technology behind LineStar,” said Fantasy Sports Co.
“The patent for invention number 9,751,010 is for Live Scoring and the ability to track what your Fantasy Sports team is doing in real-time.
“Both patents were designed by top engineers from the well-known LineStar daily fantasy sports platform.”

Fantasy Sports Co. said it is working with Mintz Levin, a law firm that specializes in intellectual property, to manage its growing IP portfolio.
