Seattle-based Element Data Inc, which harnesses artificial intelligence and machine learning, said it acquired the assets and six patents of Auguri Corporation, a Menlo Park, California company specializing in “emulating the way humans think by focusing on trade-offs and comparisons of decision making.”
Auguri’s founder and chairman Fadi Micaelian will join Element Data as senior vice president of innovation and partnerships based in Silicon Valley.
Element Data CEO Geoff McDonald said: “As we continue to grow through strategic acquisitions that complement our framework, Auguri Corporation provides us the ability to deploy into large scale enterprise level customers.”
Micaelian said: “Joining the Element Data team to continue the mission of empowering individuals and organizations to make better decisions is exciting.
“We share a common goal and leveraging our respective technologies into one solution which will allow us to reach that goal faster.”
