Vendavo files patent infringement suit v Price f(x)

Denver-based sales intelligence firm Vendavo said it filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Price f(x) in the US District Court for the Northern District of California alleging that Price f(x) infringes on five US patents.

Vendavo alleges Price f(x) “has misappropriated Vendavo trade secrets, and is unfairly competing with Vendavo in the marketplace.”

“Vendavo empowers Global 2000 companies with world-class, innovative profit and sales intelligence solutions that yield insights necessary to drive bottom line growth,” said Vendavo.

“The company’s solutions are used by hundreds of large enterprise customers that span the globe and are the result of many years of perfecting software and solutions for a wide array of industries.

“Vendavo seeks an injunction against Price f(x)’s ongoing sales and service contracts as well as monetary damages.”

Vendavo CEO Bruno Slosse said: “We have an obligation to our shareholders and to our customers to ensure that their investments in our intellectual property are protected, and while we welcome fair competition, we cannot tolerate theft of our world-class commercial excellence solutions that we have spent decades of investment developing for our customers.”
