ClearOne gets patent for video synchronization

Audio and visual communication firm ClearOne said it was awarded a new patent by the USPTO relating to its video streaming technology.

“This patent, entitled ‘A Control Mechanism for Video Output’ enables, among other things, all of the video decoders playing back a stream of video to stay synchronized with the encoder, eliminating jerky, stuttering, video playback,” said ClearOne.
